for everyone who never kept the boarding passes

Every flight you’ve taken, in one scrapbook

Your booking emails already hold the whole story. Flight Scrapbook reads them from Gmail and pastes together a map of your routes, a boarding pass for every flight, and the countries, states and kilometres you have covered.

Needs read-only Gmail access. Here is why, and what we do with it.

What ends up in the book

Why it asks to read your Gmail

Reading your mailbox is a lot to ask, so here is the plain version. Airlines send your tickets by email, and Google offers no permission for “only the airline emails”. The narrowest one that lets us find them is read-only access to Gmail.

Read-only means we cannot send, delete or change anything in your mailbox.

What happens to your email

  • We search, we do not browse. Only emails that look like flight bookings are opened.
  • We keep the flights, not the emails. Dates, routes, flight numbers, booking references and the names on the ticket are saved. The emails are not.
  • An AI model reads the booking emails. Their text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude to pick out the flight details, and nowhere else.
  • Access ends within the hour. We never store your Google sign-in, and Google’s pass to us expires 60 minutes after you sign in.
  • You can erase it all. One button deletes your flights and your account.
